There are many similarities between Apricots and Peaches, some of which are obvious. The trees have the same height, spread, and general appearance — the fruit of both are stone-hearted, downy skinned, and golden or red with sweet flesh. You will find them in stores from May through August. Pick the ones least wrinkled and with darkest skin. |
